ABOUT HANNAH
….Hannah’s roots are here in Norfolk but she has travelled extensively with her dancing career. She was originally an ex-professional Ballroom and Latin dancer but then, as she loves to act and sing too, went on to train in London where she graduated from a renowned musical theatre college. After graduating, Hannah went on to appear in Basil Brush the children’s TV series, cruise ship performances, West Side Story the musical, several pantomimes, as a showgirl in Paris and much more.
Hannah was introduced to Pilates when she sustained a dance injury in her back while training in London. She had to attend hours of Pilates sessions at the one and only studio of Alan Herdman, the first person who brought Pilates from America to the UK. Through rehabilitating and hugely strengthening her body through Pilates, Hannah realised what a genius form of exercise this is and religiously undertook half an hour every morning throughout her dancing career!
Hannah is extremely grateful for all of the wonderful dance jobs she has had and people she has got to work with throughout her dancing career, but after 6 years of continuously dancing and living out of a suitcase she decided to move back to her hometown and start teaching what she is so very passionate about. Hannah has now been teaching Pilates for 10 years and is always and forever expanding her knowledge and improving her teaching skills in the mind, body field and is excited for the future of the studio!
Hannah is over the moon with how the studio is going and just loves what she does! She is extremely lucky and proud to have the team of instructors she now has to take you all through your journeys. She is improving so many people’s lifestyles mentally and physically by offering such a wide variety of classes in such a friendly and private environment. Riverside Studios is NOT a gym but a very sociable but private studio, which is very welcoming to everyone!
